Yadkin Riverkeeper is a nonprofit, membership organization whose mission is to protect and enhance the Yadkin Pee Dee River basin through education, advocacy, and action. Our overarching goals are to ensure clean drinking water and a healthy, safe River for the benefit of all the basin’s nearly 3 million residents. Educates about the importance of the River to our region’s economy and environment through organized River paddles and educational events throughout the year. YRK also monitors and samples the River and Lakes for pollution and alerts officials and the public about threats to the River and Lakes.

Free Yoga!

For the second year in a row, we are kicking off this amazing festival with a free yoga session at 10:00 am on the main festival lawn.

SoFul Yoga and Wellness at Railwalk and Heart of Salisbury have joined Earth Day Jam to offer three other set-break yoga sessions throughout the day. These twenty-five minute sessions will be hosted by @shantih_kristen at 11:45, @eclectichaven at 2:15, and @anne_cote_hoffman at 3:30. Meet us for any/all the festival yoga you can. You’ll find us in the wellness area to the right of the main stage–be sure to visit the studio booths for class schedules and more information on what Salisbury’s #yogastudios have to offer! SoFul was initially named for its location in the SoFul District on South Fulton Street In Salisbury. To this day, we are committed to providing accessible and affordable yoga to everyone! NC Choices, an initiative of the Center for Environmental Farming Systems in collaboration with NC Cooperative Extension, promotes sustainable food systems through the advancement of the local, niche, and pasture-based meat supply chain in North Carolina. NC Choices provides information, technical assistance, educational programming, and networking opportunities for farmers, extension agents, meat processors, buyers, distributors, and consumers.

Salisbury/Rowan Farmers Market
Experience original agriculture at the Salisbury Rowan County Farmers’ Market. Their weekly market provides an opportunity for local producers to sell fresh produce and other commodities directly to customers, while providing customers the opportunity to buy locally grown items. Home to the best local produce in Rowan County, the market has a wide variety of products including fruits, vegetables, local meat, baked goods, crafts, fresh cut flowers, live entertainment and more. The market is located at the newly restored Railwalk Pavilion in Downtown Salisbury on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. from mid-April through mid-December.
